We are situated at the edge of the beautiful Teign Valley, home to the magical Dunsford nature reserve and the Woodland Trust and National Trust's gem of nature, Fingle Woods. Canonteign Falls and the Haldon Forest are all within easy reach.

The cathedral city of Exeter is the capital of Devon, and only minutes away. The historic quayside is a hub for water sports and the extensive cycle network, links Exeter's centre to the coast.

A land of mists and legends!
The stunning scenery and archaeological remains have been a visitors' dream for centuries. Three Hares Carriage is only four miles from Dartmoor National Park.

The South Devon coast including the English Riviera and the South Hams can be visited and many of our visitors continue the railway theme by taking a trip on the South Devon Railway or taking the 'round robin' trip along the River Dart on the Dartmouth Steam Railway. 
The East Devon seaside towns of Sidmouth and Exmouth are only half an hour away.

If you are looking for a quiet space for a writing retreat or cosy and quirky accommodation near to the University of Exeter for conferences or when visiting family, Three Hares Carriage is a perfect base.
